Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 1, 2026
AniBite is operated by CROP, K.K. (“we”, “us”), a company based in Tokyo, Japan. This policy explains what information the AniBite app collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We collect only what we need to run the app.
What we collect
An anonymous account ID
When you first open AniBite, we create an anonymous account for you using Google Firebase Authentication. We don’t ask for your name, email address or phone number, and you don’t need to sign up.
Coins, unlocks and purchases
We store your coin balance, the episodes and series you have unlocked, and records of your coin purchases and AniBite Pass subscription. We use this to unlock episodes, deliver what you paid for, restore purchases and fix billing problems. Payments are processed by your app store (the App Store on iPhone and iPad). We never see or store your payment card details.
Notification token
If you turn on notifications, Firebase Cloud Messaging gives your device a token so we can send you notifications such as new episodes. You can turn notifications off at any time in the app (Me) or in your device settings (your device settings).
Technical information
The software development kits we use (Google Firebase and RevenueCat) collect limited technical information, such as device model, operating system version, app version and diagnostic data, to keep the service running, secure and working properly.
Rewarded ads
AniBite shows ads only when you choose to watch one in exchange for bonus coins. When rewarded ads are available and you watch one, Google AdMob processes information such as your IP address, device information and your interaction with the ad, in order to show the ad, prevent fraud and confirm your reward. On iPhone and iPad, AniBite does not ask for permission to track you, and does not access your device’s advertising identifier (IDFA).
If your device provides an advertising ID, Google AdMob may use it to show and measure ads and to prevent fraud. You can reset or delete it at any time in your device settings.
How we use information
- To provide the app: streaming episodes, unlocking content, delivering coins and subscriptions, and restoring purchases.
- To send notifications you have turned on.
- To prevent fraud and abuse, and to keep the service secure.
- To fix problems and improve AniBite.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your information to track you across apps and websites owned by other companies.
Our website (anibite-app.web.app) counts visits only in totals per day: which page and link a visit came from, the type of device and the country. We do not store IP addresses or any identifier for these counts.
Service providers
We share information only with service providers that help us run AniBite, and only for that purpose:
- Google Firebase (Google LLC): anonymous sign-in, database, server functions and push notifications.
- RevenueCat (RevenueCat, Inc.): verifying purchases and subscription status.
- Bunny.net (BunnyWay d.o.o.): video delivery. Like any video server, it receives your IP address when you stream.
- Google AdMob (Google LLC): rewarded ads, when available.
- Apple: payments and subscriptions through the App Store.
- Other app stores, if you downloaded AniBite from one: payments and subscriptions.
These providers may process information in the United States and other countries, and they are required to protect it in line with this policy.
Keeping and deleting your data
We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. You can delete your account at any time in Me → Delete account. This deletes your account and the data linked to it, including your coins and unlocks. We may keep records of purchase transactions where the law requires it, for example for tax and accounting. An active AniBite Pass is billed by your app store and must be canceled separately: in your app store account settings (on iPhone and iPad: your Apple ID settings).
You can also ask us to delete your data by emailing contact@crop.tokyo.
Children
AniBite is for viewers 13 and older. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has used AniBite, please contact us and we will delete the data.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to object to how we use it. To make a request, email contact@crop.tokyo. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and change the date at the top.
