Terms of Use

AniBite is operated by CROP, K.K. (“we”, “us”), Tokyo, Japan. By downloading or using AniBite, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.

1. Who can use AniBite

You must be 13 or older to use AniBite. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use AniBite only with the permission of a parent or guardian, who also agrees to these terms.

2. Your account

AniBite creates an anonymous account for you when you first open the app. You can delete it at any time in Me → Delete account. Deleting your account permanently removes your coins and unlocks, and they can’t be restored.

3. Coins

• Coins are a virtual currency that can be used only to unlock episodes and other content in AniBite.
• Coins have no cash value. They can’t be exchanged for money, transferred to another account or used outside AniBite.
• Purchased coins do not expire.
• Bonus coins (for example from daily check-ins or rewarded ads) expire 30 days after you receive them. When you unlock an episode, bonus coins are used first.
• Except where required by law, purchases are final. Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple under its policies.

4. AniBite Pass

• AniBite Pass is an optional auto-renewing subscription, available weekly, monthly or yearly. The price and what’s included are shown in the app before you subscribe.
• Pass lets you watch every episode without coins. Where available, Pass may also include early access to new episodes and bonus extras. The app shows what’s included.
• New subscribers may be offered an introductory price for their first period. After the introductory period, your subscription renews at the regular price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.
• All AniBite Pass plans are in the same subscription group, so an introductory price can be used only once per app store account across all plans. If you have already used one, you’ll be charged the regular price.
• Weekly Pass subscribers may be offered a one-time promotional offer to switch to a yearly Pass at a lower first-year price. The offer is shown before you confirm.
• Payment is charged to your app store account when you confirm the purchase.
• Your subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Renewal is charged within the 24 hours before the current period ends.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your app store account settings (on iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions). Deleting the app or your AniBite account does not cancel it.
• Premiere dates and early access are shown in the app and may change.

5. Our content

All series, episodes, characters, artwork and other content in AniBite are owned by CROP, K.K. or our licensors. We give you a personal, non-commercial, non-transferable license to watch them in the app. You may not copy, record, download outside the app, redistribute, sell or publicly show any content from AniBite, except by using the sharing features built into the app.

6. Things you may not do

• Use bugs, automation or other unfair methods to get coins, unlocks or subscriptions.
• Reverse engineer, modify or interfere with the app or our servers.
• Use AniBite in any way that breaks the law or the rights of others.

If you break these terms, we may suspend or end your access to AniBite.

7. Changes to the service

We regularly add new series and episodes, and we may change or remove features or content. We may also update these terms. If we make an important change, we will let you know in the app or on this page. If you keep using AniBite after a change, you accept the updated terms.

8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

AniBite is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we don’t guarantee that the app will always be available or free of errors, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the consumer protection laws of the country where you live.

9. App Store

If you downloaded AniBite from the App Store, Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. These terms are between you and CROP, K.K., not Apple.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan, without affecting any mandatory consumer protection laws of the country where you live.
